Best Poster Award
Akshay Srivastava from our research group has bagged the Best Poster Prize and Second Prize for Group Presentation in “Zhi-Hong” International Summer School of Advanced Materials virtually held at Shanghai Jiao Tong University from July 5th to July 17th 2020.
During the summer school, Akshay presented a poster emerging from his thesis work on Effect of process parameters on Friction Stir Welding of AA2219 and contested in a group presentation on Energy efficient materials.

Akshay Srivastava is pursuing a master’s degree in Material Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar. His research interest includes Friction Stir Welding of light metals and alloys. He is currently working on Friction Stir Welding of AA 2219.
