Zhi Hong Future Scholarship

Anurag was awarded the ‘Zhi Hong Future Scholarship’ to attend the “Zhi Hong” International Summer School of Advanced Metallic Materials organized at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai (China) from 7-20 July, 2019. There, he also presented a poster on his research on dissimilar joining using FSW. His group presentation on ‘Processing of Advanced Metals’ bagged the second best prize.

Anurag joined as an M.Tech student in our group in 2017. He is currently working on Friction stir surface composites using B4C as reinforcement in aluminum alloy matrix. He had a demonstrated history of working in the academic, industrial, and corporate sectors. With a strong background across diverse engineering fields and having acquired crossfunctional skills, he enjoys defining sustainable solutions to real-world engineering problems. He is also a badminton enthusiast and has played several university-level tournaments.
