A laptop sleeve was designed and manufactured by the women of Palaj village near IIT Gandhinagar for the GIAN workshop held at IIT Gandhinagar. The sleeves were made of colorful cotton fabric with ikat print. This was achieved in collaboration with NEEV, a community outreach programme of IIT Gandhinagar, which focuses on imparting livelihood generation skills and creates self employment opportunities.
