Subhrajit completed his B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Arunachal Pradesh (2020), before joining M. Tech. at IIT Gandhinagar. He has worked on coating processes for thin Aluminium sheets during his B. Tech. Program. In M. Tech. His work is focused on friction stir welding and processing. He is working on designing and manufacturing a portable friction stir welding machine to repair cracks in Aluminium structures.
