Prachi completed her M. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering (Industrial Infrastructure) from Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad (2020) before joining PhD at IIT Gandhinagar. She worked on the Modeling and Simulation of Automatic Exhaust Nozzle Calibrator System for Military Jet Engine at Gas Turbine Research Establishment-DRDO, Bengaluru for her dissertation. She has also worked on Friction Stir Welding Process of Aluminium Alloys during her M.Tech. Her research area here is focused on Numerical Modelling of Additive Manufacturing process. She is also interested in Modeling of Friction Stir Welding and other joining processes.
